Court Updates (as of May 6, 2020) – The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia announced he will extend the statewide judicial emergency until Friday, June 12, 2020. (Original OrderFirst Extension OrderNotice – Second Extension Order)

Court Updates (as of Apr. 7, 2020) – The Toombs Judicial Circuit has adopted the Supreme Court of Georgia’s extension of the Statewide Judicial Emergency – now in effect until May 13, 2020 – and, pursuant to theses Orders, the following events are postponed:

– Warren County Criminal Jury Trials (Apr. 13 – Apr. 17)
– Taliaferro County Arraignments (Apr. 17)
– Lincoln County Criminal Jury Trials (Apr. 27 – May 1)
– Wilkes County Pre-Trials (Apr. 22)
– Wilkes County Criminal Jury Trials (May 4 – May 8)
– Glascock County Pre-Trials (May 6)
– McDuffie County Arraignments (May 7)
– Taliaferro Pre-Trials (May 12)

Court Updates (as of Apr. 6, 2020) – Today, Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Harold D. Melton issued an order extending the Statewide Judicial Emergency until May 13, 2020. To review the entire Order, please CLICK HERE.

Court Updates (as of Apr. 3, 2020) – Lincoln County Criminal Jury Trials (April 27 – May 1) are postponed.

Today, Chief Judge Hinesley issued an Order continuing (i.e., postponing) all Lincoln County Criminal Trials scheduled for the week of Apr. 27, 2020. To review the entire Order, please CLICK HERE.

Court Updates (as of Apr. 2, 2020) – The following events are postponed:
– McDuffie County Criminal Jury Trials (March 30 – April 3)
– Lincoln County Pre-Trials (April 2)
– Warren County Jury Trials (April 13 – April 17)
