The Warren County grand jury indicted 34 people during its January 22-23 session.
Shantony L. Tucker, 30, of Norwood, was indicted on several charges including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault (family violence), first degree arson and concealing the death of another.
Tucker’s charges stem from the murder of Brea Amanda Mance, 27, of Norwood, in August 2017. On Aug. 12, 2017, personnel from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Warren County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of Cobb Street in Norwood. McDuffie County Fire and EMS was called in for mutual aid, and during a search of the home, Mance’s body was found inside.
Tucker was taken into custody on Aug. 15, 2017, by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Another indictment handed out by the grand jury was for Demario Sintez Moss, 26, of Norwood.
