Law Enforcement Warns of Jury Duty Scam

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is alerting area residents of a scam occurring involving payment to avoid receiving a warrant for failing to appear for jury duty.

The sheriff’s office said jury trials in Warren County are April 9-13 and the scammer most likely read about it in the paper. “The scammer probably saw that in the newspaper and took advantage of it,” Purvis said.
